Hi All,
Got my KDM intercooler mounted Saturday night and not a moment too soon. My car had been running rich...it stuttered and sputtered under a heavy load. After swapping atleast a dozen different parts, adding new plugs & wires and an aeromotive FPR, Chrisviper suggested we do a smoke test on the engine....and guess what!? The only smoke coming from the motor was from my intercooler...it had a nice crack in it! A big thanks to Chrisviper for even suggesting this test...I would NEVER have guessed that was the cause. AND...a big thanks to Kelly for bringing my new KDM intercooler over. My car runs phenominal!
Considering, I already had Kelly's HP kit in the car with a modded (stock) intercooler, KDM's 4" monster thick intercooler took all of (maybe) 1/2 hr to install. I ran the car starting at 8lbs of boost...for such low boost, this car hauls butt.
Check it out....

Breaking news. Slices car runs 13.7x @ 102 at the track and puts down 262hp on the dyno. No sign of heat soak. My brand T/Spearco did show some heat soak however. Air temp was around 60 degrees. More details to follow.
Kelly put me down for an intercooler in the next order.

I don't have Chris's dyno sheet to post but here are some videos.
262 whp
The line lock in action.
A 1.85x 60' was wasted when a hose blew off. Could have been a low 13.6 run.

I do not think It will fit as this is taller, nor do I plan on moding these to fit the stock cloth hoses. It is made for my 2 1/4" Hard Pipe kit and for those who need more cooling efficiency on Magna MPI set ups running my HP kit or there own.

Slices dyno sheets. 17c KDM 4" intercooler, 3" exhaust, 2.25 hard pipes, ahp. Needs more fuel over 5000 rpm.
