KDM 4" New High Performance Inter Cooler

Well I have been watching my supplier make this for some time now and all that is left will be to weld the brackets which I plan on doing asap and doing some Dyno runs for HP gains and Intake temp readings. I will post pictures of it installed and hooked up to the KDM HP kit.
This is an Upgrade Inter Cooler compared to the stock Tube and fin. Bar and plate makes this a better choice and a must for the KDM 2 1/4" Full Racing Hard Pipe kit currently used with the stock IC.

BTW The radiators are still coming they are just taking a bit longer but I should have them in a couple more weeks complete and ready to drop in. I will also offer Fans with them. Then on to more parts you guys have wanted

OK, here are the pics of the inter cooler installed/test fitted.
I bent back the bottom middle air dam support bracket as I was not using it anyways and was able to remove the stock inter cooler and easily then installed the new KDM 4" Inter Cooler up until I reached the pipes where they slipped into the couplers for a good fit.

You can see how much longer it is by the 1/2 past the lower valance/air dam/front spoiler.
I'll get the brackets welded on asap and take it for a spin and then a dyno run. Or two.





The pipes bolted right up with no issues. This is a true bolt on.


Here I decided to have the IC's Polished and polished they are. Mirror shine.

Considering, I already had Kelly's HP kit in the car with a modded (stock) intercooler, KDM's 4" monster thick intercooler took all of (maybe) 1/2 hr to install. I ran the car starting at 8lbs of boost...for such low boost, this car hauls butt.

We also did not notice any heat soak on the Dyno. We were waiting for others to chimm in.

i want one of these intercoolers but i need mine to have side input and outputs like a reg i/c i rerouted all my pipes n stuff...is it possible to get one like i need in the 4 inch

I do not think It will fit as this is taller, nor do I plan on moding these to fit the stock cloth hoses. It is made for my 2 1/4" Hard Pipe kit and for those who need more cooling efficiency on Magna MPI set ups running my HP kit or there own.

Slices dyno sheets. 17c KDM 4" intercooler, 3" exhaust, 2.25 hard pipes, ahp. Needs more fuel over 5000 rpm.

Tell him that we will be dynoing the Maft Pro 2 set up this weekend and will post all info here and only here. If this works tell him we have the extra fuel he will need to obtain 300rwhp
